Yugnes Susela

Yugnes Susela is the founder of The Elephant Room, Singapore’s culture-forward cocktail bar inspired by the sights, flavours and traditions of Little India. A bartender with a chef’s sensibility, he draws inspiration from Indian cuisine and heritage to create inventive cocktails that bridge tradition with contemporary techniques. His distinctive approach has earned The Elephant Room recognition on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 51–100 list, while his work championing Indian flavours has taken the bar’s story to audiences around the world, including a one-year pop-up in New York City.
